What is ISF 10+2 for Ocean Shipping?

The Importer Security Filing and Additional Carrier Requirements “10+2” Program began in January 2009 however the trial period is over and ISF Filing officially starts on January 26, 2010. We have provided a link to the CBP website for your convenience.

Fines for errors, failure to file or incomplete filing range from $5000 to $10,000 and will begin to be issued this month. It is the importer’s responsibility to provide this information, but if you have questions you can call our Ocean Specialist at 951-553-7910. We can help you thru the process or handle it for you.

National Shippers Network Membership

The National Shippers Network is now offering membership in all US states. We are currently reviewing member companies in Massachusetts, but you should fax your application regardless of your state. We will review them in the order in which we receive them. A transportation specialist will contact you once we open membership enrollment in your area. Companies in Canada and Mexico may qualify for single shipments into the US; we review them on a case by case basis.

There is no cost to apply or for membership, but you do have to fill out a one page information sheet to tell us about your business. If you qualify you can join other manufacturers and distributors throughout North America receiving cost saving benefits thru our National LTL pricing program.
